ABOUT

I recently relocated to Encinitas, CA but I am an L.A. native.  After living in Hawaii and Oregon for the previous 10 years and then returning to L.A., I needed to find a home that could fit my needs of a busy and driven lifestyle, with the soothing nature of the ocean.

When I am not working or studying, you can find me playing at the beach, doing yoga, surfing, or twirling around the dance floor at the salsa spots in town.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & EXPERTISE

I received my Doctorate in physical therapy from Pacific University located just outside of Portland, OR in 2012, before then, I was living in Hawaii where I received my B.S. in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Sciences. Initially, I practiced primarily in orthopedic and sports physical therapy but grew to love treating pelvic health conditions. Since 2015 I have exclusively treated women's health conditions as well as male and female pelvic pain.

During my time working in pelvic health and with the body, I am discovering more and more how truly the body is connected which has driven me to begin a Master's Degree program in Integrative Health and Nutrition from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. Additionally, I have just completed my 200 hr yoga teacher training.

PHILOSOPHY

While I am a western trained medical professional and practice evidence based medicine, I truly believe that an east-meets-west approach is critical when it comes to pelvic health. I treat, and work with a group of health professionals, to fully address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each individual. I believe that the patient/client's needs should be at the center of my care, and my expertise can help guide them in their journey towards healing.
